As part of the Virginia Folklife Apprentice Program, master printer Garrett Queen and his apprentice Lana Lambert designed and hand-printed this classic fight poster for the oyster shucking competition that took place at the Richmond Folk Festival earlier this month.
Utilizing solid tone blocks, wood and lead type and photopolymer plates the poster was printed on VABC’s Universal One in a limited edition of 100.
