Project Director, Food and Community in Virginia
VFH seeks a project director to initiate a podcast series, workshops, demonstrations, field trips, and food events that may easily coordinate with existing VFH program channels including broadcast audio and public events.
The Food and Community in Virginia Project collaborate with people and organizations throughout the Commonwealth to highlight the intersection of food with our cultures, traditions, and histories. Specific skills for the position include audio production, event planning, oral and visual documentation, and a commitment to diversity. This is a limited-term assignment, scheduled to end on December 31, 2018.
VFH offers the dynamic work environment and a wide array of programming: the Virginia Festival of the Book, the weekly public radio show “With Good Reason” and weekly podcast “BackStory,” the online Encyclopedia Virginia, international Fellowships, and other programs.
