Karenne Wood, poet and director of VFH’s Virginia Indian Program will be speaking at the Science Museum of Virginia as part of a celebration of climate science and environmental resilience.

“Creative Change” is a supplement to the museum’s climate change science and resiliency speaker series with the aim of examining our shifting environment through the arts and humanities. The interdisciplinary, museum-wide event will include poetry readings, art exhibitions, and theatrical performances. A panel discussion featuring Karenne Wood (tentatively scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm) will underline the engagement between art, the humanities, and science.
