Join VFH’s History United for a community event exploring Virginia’s history of segregation, integration and civil rights. The evening reception and talk (6:30-8:30 PM) will feature historian, and BackStory host Ed Ayers, who will discuss the evolution of segregation, disfranchisement, and resistance in Virginia and in the South from emancipation into the early 20th century.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged through Eventbrite.
