Every year, the Library of Virginia recognizes 8 outstanding women as “Virginia Women in History.” Some are historic figures, others contemporary, but all have made a significant contribution to their field and our state.
One of the 2015 honorees is Karenne Wood, Director of Virginia Indian Programs at VFH.
Karenne talks to WTJU‘s Emily Richardson-Lorente about the honor in this interview for their show Soundboard.
