VFH Board member Dennis Treacy is an Executive Vice President at Smithfield Foods and the company’s Chief Sustainability Officer.

Recently, he sat down with Kelley Libby in our radio studio and shared his thoughts on how the arts and humanities help people understand each other’s points of view.

I’m not really someone who worries about the past… I want to know what happens tomorrow.

My favorite thing at VFH is the history guys, BackStory… They’re bringing history alive and making it important for tomorrow.

In today’s business and leadership world if you don’t have an appreciation for the arts and the humanities you really are not an effective person.
