“A Conversation About Race with Dr. Beverly D. Tatum” is an Understanding Hampton Roads forum sponsored by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation in partnership with Virginia Humanities.

This community event, held May 30, 2019 at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, featured a discussion with Tatum, author of “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations About Race” and April Woodard, host of WTKR’s Coast Live.
