Carmen is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and was the founder and President and CEO of Veritiss LLC, an award-winning woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned small business that supported Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) mission requirements including combat missions in Afghanistan.
Having experienced busing desegregation violence throughout high school, Carmen’s life’s focus has been inspiring others to understand, listen with empathy, motivate, and unite Americans to understand that we have more in common than differences. And having served with soldiers throughout the country, Carmen appreciates the history, culture, and traditions of American communities U.S. wide.
