Carter Goodwin is an MBA candidate at the Darden School of Business (Class of 2027). Before Darden, he worked in political and security advisory in Nairobi, Kenya supporting commercial and public sector clients across Sub-Saharan Africa. He has also been an advisor for the European Institute for Peace, an emerging expert at the Forum on the Arms Trade, and an active angel investor within the Nairobi Business Angel Network.
He grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford.
