David McFarland is Vice President–Investor Relations at Dominion Energy. He is responsible for developing and communicating the company’s investment narrative to members of the financial community and for external outreach and engagement with investors on environmental, social, and governance issues.
McFarland joined Dominion Energy in 2018 and led the company’s merger, acquisition and divestiture activity. Prior to joining Dominion Energy, he was Director–Private Equity for First Reserve, a leading global private equity firm exclusively focused on energy for eight years. Prior to First Reserve, he was Investment Banking Analyst for Barclays in the Global Natural Resources Group.
