Mac Thompson is Of Counsel to Woods Rogers PLC where he practices business and corporate law representing companies in diverse fields including biotechnology, high-tech, education, energy, and manufacturing.
Mac is or has been a member and former chair of the Board of Directors of the Community Investment Collaborative, a Charlottesville-based education and micro-finance
organization, the UVA Curry School of Education Foundation, the Charlottesville Opera, the Charlottesville Committee on Foreign Relations and the Tuesday Evening Concert Series.
Mac has been an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville and a member of the Board of Trustees of Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.
