Patricia Miller is the Managing Editor of Encyclopedia Virginia (EV). Her responsibilities include identifying and working with scholars to create content for EV, editing EV entries, writing the EV blog, and hosting the EntryPoint webinar series. She is the author of Bringing Down the Colonel: A Sex Scandal of the Gilded Age and the “Powerless” Woman Who Took on Washington. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic, Salon, The Nation, and The Huffington Post.
