Will is President and CEO of C. W. Francis & Son, Inc., a real estate management and development firm in Roanoke. An exceptional community member, he serves on the boards of the Paramount and Hollins University and was twice appointed by Gov. Warner for the VA Commission for the Arts, served on the National Board of GLADD and the Empire State Pride Agenda Foundation when he lived in New York prior to Virginia. He has been a noteworthy UVA Alumni (BA 1980) as well having been on the board of the UVA Club of New York and in 2012, Will was awarded the Serpentine Society of the Alumni Association’s Bernard D. Mayes Award “for his significant, positive and enduring commitment and contribution to the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender community both within the University of Virginia community and the world at large”. Will and his partner Juan Granados are proud parents of two and live in Farmington.
