Justin Fornal, host of “Unexplained & Unexplored” on Discovery Channel and the Science Channel, takes us on a smokey journey into the culture, etiquette, and craft of colonial pipes. Learn why the clay pipe is one of the most commonly found artifacts at colonial-era archaeology sites. Justin will also explain how tobacco became so valuable in colonial Virginia that for a period of time it actually served as currency.
