Join Patrick Henry’s Red Hill and members of the local African American community in a dedication of the Quarter Place Cemetery in remembrance of the enslaved population of Red Hill and their descendants.

The name Quarter Place appears on 19th-century deeds and maps of Red Hill to describe the grouping of living quarters of the enslaved Americans and African Americans living at Red Hill from the 18th century until the mid-20th century. Research is currently underway to identify the names of those buried there.
