What are some of the most important pieces about that experience that should be included in the K-12 curriculum? How should we teach that history and those stories? Panelists will frame their presentations around these questions by using examples from history and their own experience. Recognition of the demographic changes that have come to Virginia over the last 40 years will be central to a discussion of how we can help students of many different backgrounds and cultures find connections in the curriculum to their own lives.
