Join us for a full day of learning and networking events honoring the life and legacy of Rosel Schewel, a champion of women’s rights, racial justice and civic activist, who served as chair of both the boards of Virginia Humanities and Lynchburg College.

Poet and educator Nikki Giovanni is the keynote speaker.

This full-day event will begin with registration at 8:15 a.m. Presentations and discussions will focus on women’s leadership in politics, business, education, and nonprofit organizations. A continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and closing reception are included.

Attendance is limited; free parking is available.
