The 2026 Supernova International Ska Festival takes place September 12–13 at historic Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia, bringing some of the biggest names in ska and reggae music to the beach.
This year’s festival will be livestreamed to audiences around the world through support from a Virginia Humanities at WHRO grant. The grant supports Amplifying Talent, a workforce development program that pairs Hampton University students with experienced television directors and producers—including professionals who have worked on shows such as Survivor and Supernanny—to gain hands-on experience producing a global livestream.
