Rhythms of the Region — An album release concert to benefit the Farmer Emergency Fund. Presented by the Roanoke Foodshed Network. Join regional musicians, farmers and advocates for an evening of songs and stories of the people who feed our region.

Six Musicians. Six Original Songs. Stories from the People Who Feed Our Region.

Join the Roanoke Foodshed Network and Sustain Floyd at the Floyd Country Store for an evening celebrating the farmers and food community in our region through original music, storytelling, and film.

Inspired by the stories of our region’s farmers, six regional musicians have created original songs. Hear them perform these songs live for the first time, join in conversation with farmers, and watch Episode 4 of Good Food, Good People: The True Cost of Food.

The evening will also mark the launch of RFN’s Farmer Emergency Fund, a new regional fund providing flexible support to farmers facing unexpected emergencies and helping strengthen the resilience of the farms and food system we all depend on.

Music. Stories. Farmers. Food. Community.

Come celebrate the people who feed our region, and help us build a safety net for them when they need it most.

Featured Musicians Include:

  • Sasha Landon
  • Amelia Empson
  • Brent Wills
  • Ash Devine
  • The Sister’s Grim
  • Linnea Morgan

This event is made possible with support from Virginia Humanities.
